Although, at around 2,500 inhabitants, our little village of Marling may not be one of the largest villages in South Tyrol, it is certainly one of the most charming. Visitors and residents are all in agreement that it offers the best of everything: With its proximity to Meran, city life is within easy reach while its location high above Meran, surrounded by apple orchards, grape vines and stunning mountain panorama as far as the eye can see, offers the calm peace of the countryside.
The Waldner family also have their own orchards and winery. Please ask us - we will be delighted to help you with tips around Marling.

Parish Church of the Holy Assumption
The 74 metre high Romanesque tower of the parish church soars up to the sky; the side chapel of the neo-Gothic church dates back to the 13th century and houses valuable frescoes dating to around 1400. Incidentally, a poem about the "Bells of Marling" was set to music by none other than Franz Liszt himself.
